More 2010 Films

One of the rules of my personal 100 Movies challenge is that it can include films watched in 2010 that you've seen before. So far this week I watched 2 films with Chris that I've seen before, and while I normally would write a review (even if it's just a capsule review) they were both on my Top 10 list of 2009 so I'm not going to write another blurb about them:

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Up! I just saw it a few weeks ago on DVD, and it made me cry so much it was so good!

And on a totally random note, have you seen Rachel Getting Married? I'm just wondering if you have and if you have an opinion on it, as I just saw it today and can't believe how completely awful it was and I'm mad at it for wasting 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back. I just want to know if it's just me, or did other people REALLY think it was a good movie?

I don't think I disliked the movie as much as you did, but I definitely thought it was so super weak. During the movie I was like, "Okay, enough of the angst already, we get it" and "Give it up with the constant music!" (even though I actually LIKE Robyn Hitchcock!) and when the movie ended I kind of was like, "Eh, whatever", which I somehow don't think Jonathan Demme intended. I really thought it was a huge disappointment overall.
